We are a fellowship of people whose lives are formed by the Bible. We love our Lord Jesus Christ and we strive to live a life that is pleasing to God alone. We are open to other Christian churches and groups. If you ever find yourself in Hlinsko, we would love to see you at our service. We believe in brother and sister relationships which go beyond the borders of denomination.
The interdenominational ministry in our church is represented by Tomáš Řehák (assistant pastor and a director of ABATOP association). An example of interdenominational is also our cooperation with the Hand of Hope project. The project works with several Children’s homes (http://www.handofhope.cz/). The church also runs a drop-in centre called Maják (Lighthouse) which strives to bring the gospel to the youth of Hlinsko and is operated by Youth For Christ CR (http://mladezprokrista.cz/).

Sometime around 1984, a small group of Christians that was meeting in Hlinsko joined AC Kutná Hora. The church ran under the patronage of AC Kutná Hora from 1985 to 1991. Those who remember know that we used to go to Kutná Hora once a month and our brothers from Kutná Hora also came to visit us once a month. We are grateful to our brothers from Hlinsko ČCE church who allowed us to meet in their church building. In 1991, we started thinking about becoming an independent and self-sufficient church. After becoming an independent church, we have also supported small Christian groups in Polička and Havlíčkův Brod. Later on, around 1994/1995, another small group arose in Velké Meziříčí. As time went, Velké Meziříčí was then taken over by the church in Brno and the small group in Polička became an independent church with the pastor Jiří Bureš (www.acpolicka.cz). Our church still has good relationships with the other churches not only in Hlinsko and belongs to one of the smaller churches in the AC denomination.
